Two separate apartment fires occurred in the neighborhoods of Bromma and Märsta over the weekend. Emergency services were called to the scene and managed to contain the flames, preventing further damage to nearby homes.
In Bromma, the fire started late Saturday night in a top-floor apartment. The building was evacuated as a precaution, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, in Märsta, another fire broke out early Sunday morning. Local residents quickly alerted the authorities, enabling a swift response that limited the fire’s spread. Again, no injuries were reported, but several families have been temporarily displaced.
The local fire department has urged residents to check their smoke detectors and ensure that fire safety measures are in place to prevent similar incidents in the future.
