Two rock bands, a wind orchestra, and a long procession of imaginatively transformed vehicles: that is how residents and passersby in Stockholm’s Östermalm district experienced yet another edition of the iconic Quarnevalen parade, which set off from the area surrounding KTH and made its way along Valhallavägen avenue.
The crowds gathered along the pavements were quick to catch the energy of the participating students, who wore costumes and performed comedic acts aboard the vehicles decorated for the occasion.
