Mateusz Maciaszczyk didn’t need a business school or years of vocational training to fulfill his dream. All it took was curiosity, persistence, and a good internet connection. Since his teenage years, this young entrepreneur was already spending hours tinkering with engines and vehicle parts, learning through trial, error, and YouTube videos. Today, at just 21 years old, he is the owner of his own auto repair shop located in the Vasastan neighborhood of Stockholm.
What started as a hobby gradually transformed into a life project. Without following the traditional path, Mateusz built his knowledge entirely on his own terms, relying on the video platform as his primary source of technical learning. Far from being a limitation, this approach allowed him to progress at his own pace and specialize in what he was truly passionate about.
Now, with the shop up and running and a loyal customer base, Mateusz wants to go beyond his own success. His goal is to become a role model for other young people who, like him, have a dream but hesitate to take the leap. “I want to prove that it’s possible” is the message he shares with those around him.
His story is an example of how determination and the smart use of digital resources can open doors that conventional education doesn’t always offer. In an increasingly demanding labor market, this twenty-something mechanic proves that age is no obstacle when there is a true calling involved.
